Legal Requirements
As a reputed company, SRP Sweaters Ltd. has been maintaining all legal and statutory requirements of the country.
Employment
Company is maintaining minimum wages; hours of work, overtime and other related requirements as per prevailing laws of the country.
Wages, Pay slips, Attendance
Company maintains workers attendance, wages, pay slips, leave records…etc. electronically through software and swift cards.
Child Labor
Child labor is strictly prohibited in the factory and no worker is allowed below 18 years for any employment. Birth certificate, Doctor’s Age determination documents and physical appearances are verified before offering any employment to any worker.
Forced Labor
Forced labor is strictly prohibited in the factory and there are prisoners, bonded labor or any kinds of forced labor.
Nondiscrimination
It is SRP Sweaters Ltd. Policy to ensure affirmative action in providing equal opportunities with our regard to race, religion, creed, color, sex, age or national origin except where age or sex is bona fides occupational qualification. Further it is prohibited to conduct any kind of maternity test before selection of any female worker for employment
Security concern
The Company is very much concerned about Access controls, Physical Security, Procedural Security and Education & Awareness Training on all security concerns. Further al measures are in place to prevent any kind of UN-authorized & UN-identified access to the factory premises.
Right of association
Workers are allowed to form Lawful Association.
Harassment and Abuse
It is the company’s strict policy to make sure no harassment or abuse inside the factory premises and who ever gates involve ,or encourage such activities will be dealt immediately based on company policy for disciplinary actions. Further management of the company has very positive attitude towards worker’s grievances and takes all grievances very seriously
Health, Safety & Welfare
All measures are adopted in the factory to provide maximum health and safety arrangements to all our employees. A Qualified Doctor an trained Nurse are employed full time along with health center for health service and emergency treatment of employees, further the company is an active member of East West medical center which provides emergency medical services to all employees of its members free charge. Appropriate lighting facilities, pure drinking water, proper ventilation, adequate exit doors, free access to all firefighting equipment, adequate and unblocked walk ways throughout the factory equipment for workers ever applicable and dining hall with seating capacity for minimum 35% of total workers are maintained by the factory.

06. Present Finishing Capacity per month:
Around 5000 To 6000 pecs per Month Depending On Style.
07. Working Hour:
48 hours per week including 8 hours per day with 2 hours overtime if require, 6 days in a week.
08. Broken Needle Record Procedure:
The broken needle records are being maintained by the store officer and he is the only person who will issue the needles and receive the broken needles from the operators. We are maintaining a register book section-wise for these broken needle.
09. Metal Detector Machine:
After Strictly maintaining the above broken needle policy, we check all the garments through a Metal Detector. This procedure is done after Packing. If any garments is contaminated with metal, we then find out the metal from the garment and maintain a register for these metal.
10. Electricity Facility:
We have our own Power Unite. ( 02 Generator – One generator have 250 & 60 KWL capacity )
11. Water Supply:
Company has made its own water supply facility.
12. Transport Facility:
For smooth production, Company has arranged sufficient transport facility for the workers and staff.
13. Doctor’s Facility:
One Doctor & one Matron are always available for medical treatment: In addition to the above we ensure the sufficient medicines for normal treatment in the factory.
14. No Child Labour:
All workers are working in the factory, above the age of 18 (eighteen) as per the agreement signed between our Association and the International Labor Organization (ILO). All workers give written declarations regarding their age. If any worker is in doubtful category, are verified by the Civil Surgeons office of Bangladesh.
15. Health and Safety:
Health and Safely is a major concern of our company. We are checking regular basis in order to ensure that all electric lines and equipment are safe. Protective gloves and masks are given to workers who are working with risk with regard to washing chemicals and yarn fluff respectively. Our factory has fire evacuation plans in each floor and regular fire drills are carried out and timed. Smoke detectors are in place in the different floors, and the required numbers of fire extinguishers are in place in the factory. Fire alarm bells are installed in different places of the building and the bells are regularly checked. It’s our policy to keep Fire Exits open even when there is one member of the staff in the factory building.

45 Healthy bathroom in each floor.

The normal lead time is for local yarn & accessories sources from 64-90 days and for imported yarn & accessories is from 90-124 days.
